I saw on the logo for this site that it says "Only The Truth Matters". Just wondering, but what do agnostics believe to be the truth? It was my understanding that agnosticism is the belief that the truth couldn't be known (maybe I'm wrong in this?). If not, then what is "The Truth" that you were referring to in the slogan?

just trying to start some discussion...

I'm not sure there is any one real truth because the truth is different to every person based on their life experiences. What is true to me might be totally untrue to you.

Very good discussion.

My intention behind the slogan was that no matter what group you belong to, only the truth matters. Even though agnostics beieve the truth can't be proven the bottom line is we would still would like to know the truth if ever possible.

Well I would sure like to hope so. My feelings are truth for me (they can get pretty intense), I would hate to think that they are lies.

I can't agree with that.

1 + 1 = 2 <--- true no feelings involved whatsoever.
