My most sincere and heartfelt congratulations, Og.

Marriage is a wonderful thing. Coming on 23 years of total happiness in a few months, and I hope the same to you and the new wife.

And, of course, I promise to behave. I have a reputation as a mod on another forum to live up to.

Back.

Had a wonderful time. I've been a chronic nail bitter for years as a subconscious nervous habit. About a week into the trip, I realized my nails were super long as I had not been biting them. This was probably the first real vacation that I've had in about 10 years. Was cool to see that subconscious metric of stress decrease.

Hiked about 3-6 miles a day at 5000-8000 feet on the colorado plateau in the canyons gaining and losing about 2500 feet whenever we went out. Was pretty awe inspiring.

Deb seems to indicate that some thumpers have showed up since I've been gone?

Welcome back Og
Deb's correct .... but some we also have new and knowledgable members as well.

Yeah,

Welcome back, we tried very hard to not trash the place while you were gone and it was tempting, ya know, the cats away... and all that
