That bit about Vespasian dying from AIDS is interesting but extremely unlikely. If the disease was in the wild back in 79 C.E., virtually no one would have survived to become our ancestors. (History says he was a fairly decent emperor, BTW.)
And I think humans are perfectly capable of causing their own mischief without help from "demons", thankyouverymuch. |
