I find many elements of neo-paganism attractive-its nature based spirituality, the balance a power between the male and female aspects, etc. But I could never get into it because, overall, I’m skeptical about the supernatural. I don’t know one way or the other if there are gods or goddesses, or what effect performing any sort of Magic might have. As well as the questions: Should I be so presumptuous as to believe it would have an effect? and Am I qualified enough to know what I'm doing if it does?
It just wasn’t a good fit for me. That being said, there are a few elements of it I have incorporated into my own spiritual (for lack of a better word) practice. |
