The world is a downer. And I think all the scary news stories are having the opposite effect. I think we're becoming numb. How many people seriously get scared now watching the news? How many people seriously are like, "Oh my god!!! 3 more suicide bombers in Iraq!!!" Most people are more like "Oh, another 3. Great. 3 down." Those are both exaggerations, but you get the idea. |
