I deny consciousness as what you think it is. Consciousness as you present it is a myth. Consciousness is no different than a tornado. It's a pattern of elements of the universe that behave in a certain way.

It's demonstrable that consciousness is an illusion. We are biomachines that behave in response to our stimulus and structure. This is what modern neuroscience illustrates.

The idea of vishnu asleep on the world ocean dreaming the dream of reality is a metaphor, not reality. It speaks to the idea of a God that must transcend all categories of thought (including being and non-being). It doesn't mean that there has to be a prime mind.

Dreaming is a certain state of the brain. It's different than waking. Quite different in man respects.
