I am a big fan of Socrates, and his exhortations on logical thinking, and nobility and courage has influenced me a lot.
Though I don't know of Socrates influence on Christianity, I do hope that the Christian fundamentalists, and the fundamentalists of all religions will study Socrates and temper their beliefs with reason and logic.
