I continue to wonder at how christians can call doubt a bad thing and then just glaze over the actions of one of jesus' disciples who will supposedly have his name on one of the pillars of the kingdom of heaven when it lands upon the earth in some bizarre end of the world event.
Thomas, the disciple of jesus. He wouldn't believe until he put his fingers in the holes in jesus' hands. The story is related in the Gospel According to John.
Yet most fundies call doubt evil. It seems like an untenable position.
