Proof is not the point. Evidence is the point. I'm so sick and tired of people not getting this. Evolution is not a SIDE in some stupid argument. Evolution is the best description of the body of EVIDENCE. There are no sides to evidence in this case. If you have evidence, publish it, apply it to the theory of evolution and the theory gets modified.
There's no frickin sides. There's what's observed. That's all.
This crap about "both sides" really appeals to the fair play nature of freedom loving american citizens. It makes a lot of sense. And that's how ID is manipulating the field. They've even got the president commenting about "both sides"... ID is NOT a side. ID has no evidence to back it up. If there is evidence, then present it. The theory is not called evolution because someone made it up, it's called evolution because that's a word that describes the observed processes! Good grief.
