Well, you should remove 'Judaism' then, since they have ~20M people.
far less than the first 4 in your list.
But, of course, you can say, that they influenced 2 major religion
and many people know about it and its tenets.

That is my point: Scientology gets a lot of attention in the West and it is fun to discuss (galactical overlords and so on) what's wrong with having fun, and with discussing a religion that most people here are more familiar with than the others (since most Internet users are Western, and since western culture and especially U.S. culture are almost 'the world culture' and since a lot of celebrities belong to it).

Sceintology is also a good example of a 'new age religion' which the others are not. I suspect that the future will bring us more like it (when more and more people see the contradiction between science and the old religions).
So it will be nice to discuss this particular prototype.

So maybe we should start a new-age/scientifically-motivated/futuristic religions as a discussion group, where Scientology could be one of them.
