Sorry to burst your bubbles, but the Garden of Eden was a real place. Adam was a real man, Eve was a real woman. All of your mystical fantasies about what each represents are wrong. Period.
If you can lay aside the Genesis accout, then the rest of the Bible can be seen as mystical and figurative also, thereby excusing you from any responsibility for your actions. Well, guess what? God will still hold you accountable, whether you like it or not. Accept it.
