The same can be said for Vishnu, Athena, Oðinn, Guan Shi Yin, the Morrigan, and all other supernatural beings imagined by humanity. People tend to "find" the gods that they go looking for. (Unfortunately that does not make any god real, as they tend to be experienced only in our minds.)
