Your claim is unfounded, not based on any evidence or reported experience, and is designed to instill fear and force an adherence to your religion by playing on a person's desire for self preservation. It can not be construed otherwise. As such, it's a personal assault.
Obviously, you don't have the power to "damn" anyone. Your god is separate from you and you do not allow yourself this power (nor do most people that you damn).
I propose that living in fear of the punishment of hell and in desire for the rewards of heaven IS HELL and that you are already damned (if this is truly your stance). I think I'm also well founded in both the christian and buddhist traditions for making such a stance. It places your experience of life off in some other place and not at the moment you're living now. It makes you walk through life as a zombie.
