Because this is such a hard concept for most to get a grip on, religion gives the divine human qualities for the sake of understanding. This is why "God" is seen by many as a father figure, and Jesus as a son.

Jesus "identified with" the divine. He didn't worship it because to such a person, there is no seperation.

I know about all about "identifying with", I was just curious as to the details of "worship" and what it means specifically to those who embrace and practice that concept.
