I kind of agree with AB. The concept of worshipping a god, that apparently needs/wants my worship did not make sense. Healthy people would not want to be worshipped so why would a god? This was the seed that led me away from Christianity in the first place.
I'm sure somebody will explain why, but then they have a much better understanding of gods than I.
Now, exactly what direction do the scriptures point? I suppose I will have to find my own direction.
