this is Abel's thread, we don't have spend time on it.
Abel has been nothing but respectful, and some seem to enjoy debating scripture. I care little for the literal interpretation of the Bible, for that is a house built on sand. I susect the Bible contain many interesting truths if only we can let go of the literalism and interpret a la Joseph Campbell.
He's testing himself here to see if he and we are worthy?
Would you not want to put up at least some token resistence?
