Cheers roman. What I am? I think non-religious is the best term to describe my stance. IMO, labels of agnostic, atheist, pantheist etc are all semantics. Whether a god exists or not is irrelevant to how we live our lives so long as we all agree that religion is falsehood.

They do actually! Luckily, western society has somewhat dampened this practice.

I dont plan on ever telling my parents though. It'll break my mother's heart. I couldnt bring myself to do that. I thik it would be best if I left my hometown once I finish up with college though. It'll make things a lot easier for me.
I think you have the right of it .... no need to tell your parents .... it's not being hypocritical it's being practical .... telling your parents about that is on the same level of coming out of the closet on your sexuality .... I think my parents would rather hear that I was a lesbian (I'm hetero) than I was a non believer .... weird but true! Living your life .... for lack of a better word .. "correctly and kindly" is more of value than what religion you embrace. Once again ... I wait before I divulged any information to your parents .... less hassle for you ...
