 Why are we here?
I'm here for a bit of interaction with people who might have a broader perspective on life than the religious folk I've spent most of my life with. I'm new to the forum and don't have a lot of time to dedicate to it, but I've enjoyed the little bit of exposure I've had so far. It also provides me with an arena for "coming out of the closet", for letting others know who I am, even if only under a pseudonym. After 40+ years in the Christian ministry, by far the majority of my friends and acquaintances are Christians. I'm not hiding my agnostic beliefs, but neither am I looking to unnecessarily scandalize or hurt my friends. So, I don't talk on these subjects with them. I need a compatible context and this forum provides one, both for input and for expression. Thanks! |
