I have always wondered about the phrase the big bang. Is there anything stopping it being one of many? I not just referring to the possible contraction of our observable universe... but other universes, say teralight years away.
There are precedents for this ... our worlds/universes tend to be egocentric.
Nah. Cosmic background radiation is visible and constant in ANY direction in space. Not in one direction back "over there" where we came from vs "over yonder" where other stuff is.
