OK I'm going to be a dissenting voice.
Speaking as a recently bereaved parent ... my heart goes out to the parents and family.
I agree with WilliamBlue this was death by stupidity.
Who here has not been stupid at some moment in time?
Parents go out to the bar leaving the kids to play with matches
Parents driving inattentively
I'm sure everyone has there own local examples of stupidity.
Do you think punishing these parents will actually be a deterrent?
I for one doubt it.
