Post Jewish Identity In Perspective

[quote=Gettin' In Tune;16405
Why is identifying your Jewish identity a sensitive topic?[/QUOTE]

Due to the fact that Judaism is seen as both a faith and an ancestry is the main reason why I ascribe a degree of sensitivity to this discussion. Throughout history our people have been systematically persecuted and discriminated against on the basis of our faith or ethnicity.

How would you feel if people perceived you differently on the basis of your jewish ancestry in the workforce? Would you feel sensitive about this discrimination and prejudice?
