Hmm, where to start...
Why I'm here: I've recently had urges to spill out my thinking, so I decided to search for an agnostic forum, and
*insert ending you can already guess*.
My religious/philosophical standpoint: My view is very close to Pyrrhonism/Sextus Empiricus' definition of Scepticism (if anyone here's heard of it; haven't seen it mentioned here), but it isn't quite there, and it's not very all-encompassing. If people really aren't sure what it is:
Summary Full Version What I'm doing: Right now I'm exploring some teachings of Buddhism that have similarities with Pyrrhonism. Mostly the idea of eliminating attachment to concepts.
What to expect:
- I'm here to post whenever I'm inclined, which probably won't be often. So you'll probably see just a once-in-a-while post from me.
- I'm not much of a debater. I'm more likely to just explain my idea, and say nothing else unless someone asks for clarification. But I might try to argue if I'm feeling restless.
On the side:
- Undergraduate engineering student
- I play the piano, mostly arrangements of video game music I find on the Internet.
- I also meditate (since last spring), and just started doing yoga this year.
I think that covers everything. No wait, one last thing...
...Hi.
