3) let me tell you something, in Islam there are fighters (Mujahedeen), but who are they? Simply, they are Muslim people who defend their religion, people, and country. How about this: there is a man who follows any religion. Enemies got into his country. What shall he do?? Of course he will defend his country, family and religion. He won't stand happy for what happens. Automatically this is what we do when the enemies get into our land, taking our lives, women, and money. What shall we do to them?? Of course we will defend and fight. Then those are the fighters (Mujahedeen) who defend their country, fight the enemies and spread Islam. But the world has spotted the name of fighters (Mujahedeen) into terrorists. Meanwhile, a group of Muslims showed up and called themselves (Mujahedeen). They got into countries, blew up things, and killed innocents under the name of Islam and (Mujahedeen). If you get the chance, you will see there is a big difference between the fighters (Mujahedeen) and other ones. Those who explode and kill innocents are not (Mujahedeen) even if they pretend to and owe whatever they do to Islam. Islam and (Mujahedeen) deny them because of the (Mujahedeen's) deeds as the nature of any man who would do as they do, they also call for Islam in the best moral ways they could deal with non-Muslim in polite and good way not in blowing, killing and threat.
5) you are asking about the verse: (do not take the Jews and Christians as guardians).
The point of the verse is not preventing Muslims from having commercial and social relationships with the Jews and Christians, or from treating them rightly and kindly. It is to prevent Muslims from joining them in a league or accounting on them in facing and fighting the enemies because this is dishonesty; for example, Muslims depending on the Jews and supporting them in a war against Muslims.
6) as for your question if Allah is the God of Muslims and Christians.
We believe that there is only one God; Allah. He is the God of all creatures and people. He is the God of the whole world; the ground, planets, the sky, and every thing. Every thing in this world He creates them and there is no God but one ; Allah. He is the one Who creates and feeds us. With His own order, rain falls. Everything in this world happens according to His well and knowledge. With His command we die, so He is the God of Muslims, Christians, Jews, Magians, ….etc.. He is the God, the Lord of every creature He creates. A simple example of His existence is when there is a bad time for you or a trouble you have, when there is no one, no creature is with and helping you, then to whom you are going to. Aren’t you going to pray Allah to save you??? Because Allah is the God Who creates us, knows about us, and we all believe in His existence.
7) I didn’t understand what you mean by saying that Allah is not an Arab name.
I can tell you what (Allah) means. It is taken from The God (Al-Elaah). And The God (Al-Elaah) is the Greatest Whom we love, praise, fear of, and worship. The word (Allah) means God (Al-Elaah) in our language.
8) the phrase (Allah is the Greatest) Allah is Greater than whom???
Isn’t God (Allah), the God and the Lord (Glory be to Him), greater than any thing in this world, and greater than creatures?? So He is Greater than anything (Glory be to Him). And we always say that when we see something great or fine for us. God (Allah) is the God that nothing is greater than Him because He is the One Who creates everything, He is the Creator of the world and everybody.
I hope that I have answered your questions. If there is anything not clear for you or anymore question, don’t hesitate to ask. |
