I've not figured out how synchronicity squares with my life yet either. It's almost like it puts into question the whole idea of Free Will.
Quick Example:
- Dated a woman on Guam in 1981.
- She moves away to Virginia, we break up because of the distance. I lose track of her.
- I move to NJ in 1982.
- It's 1984 and I visit Wa DC for business. I take the Metro to a station on my way to dinner there.
- I exit the train and STEP RIGHT INTO HER coming in the SAME DOOR.
What the
???
What was that???
How did this happen???
I mean: How many Metro Trains, each with how many cars, and each with two doors, and how many stations, and how many stops, over how many days, weeks and moments did it take for that moment to happen?
Yeah: I'm with you here. Synchronicity throws a big wrench into my stepping towards true Atheism because I don't have evidence as to what it IS.
