and the logic/assumptions:
1) Living things are no more than chemical machines. The machines are made up DNA instructions, nutrients/nutrition ... food generally/programming. The programming comes in at least two forms, nature and nurture. Nature is our genetic code. Nurture is our every interaction with the universe... including parents, policemen, hot flames, ants, trees, heights, quantum fluctuations, food, books ....etc
2) If we think we decide or think we have made a choice somewhere in our lives.... start questioning where the inputs have come from? Then question what caused you to have those inputs/decisions and carry on from there...keep questioning the origin of your thoughts. Of course the infuences on particular choice grow exponentially and become unmanageable rapidly.
So exactly how did we make a choice?... I certainly have to admit it certainly felt like I made a choice. But did I?
Hence my question ....
"Did you choose to think that?"
