Hi Hobbes
I think you do some Christians a disservice.
I can remember in high (secondary) school being taught that I should not take everything in the Bible literally. For example I was taught that the important thing was that God made the universe, world and its life. Not necessarily that it was done 4000 y ago in seven days. I would argue that some Christians know how to read the Bible better than say some atheists who can be as literal as some fundamental Christians.
