There was no fall of man.

To assume we fell, assumes we are more important than we are … can you say EGO.

It was the “rise of the apes”
I am honored to be part of this chain.
I will be even prouder if, upon our extinction, what follows is built on us.
Hi AB
I think Campbell's point is we should let go of (at least to some degree) of our concepts of good and evil.... this will lead us to .... I'm not exactly sure what, but something along the lines of an easier heart?
The interpretation is totally a psychological metaphor.... I think.

Regarding your reply ....... I'm with you my simian bro.....
Oh I see, sorry.

I agree with that 100%. I always say we need to drop what we think we know. Truth seems to be paradoxical to man because man doesn’t know.

I classify myself as a Soldier of Faith now and will raise my kids as such. In my bible studies (I am RC) they do not like that classification. When the Dark Man comes, it is my kind that will be called. We will hold the line, not out of hate, but out of love. That does not mean we will greet you with hugs and kisses, go see your mum for that.

Like in IRAQ. I will hand out water and toys to the children and help raise them. Build schools and what ever kind of church they want. I will take a diffrent approach to their fathers because, like me, they are locked into a belief.

you and Marm have such good posts. I learn alot.
