Sure could and will. There are many psychology forums I haven't visited, but the ones I have visited tend to be more laid back.
I'm an INFP and the the INFP forum is very friendly, but INFPs by definition are mostly conflict-avoidant and not too interested in intellectual nit-picking... except when in a bad mood and their Extraverted Thinking takes overa(which isn't too often).

There was only one forum that was a bit aggressive and it was an INTP forum. INTPs are very much into intellectual nit-picking and argument in general. I wouldn't advise you visit that one. By the way, many INTPs and some others find the INFP forum boring and too emotional.
I've been to various other psychology forums that were decent, but there are 3 specific ones that I've been visiting recently...
MBTIcentral has a variety of types on it. Its not as easygoing as INFPglobalchatter, but its friendly for sure. It was an offshoot of the INTP forum. Fortunately, it has had many NFs to join since its inception to balance out the heavy NT influence of when it first started.

There is a Jungian forum that has many very mature people(and I don't mean old although the average age might be older than the other forums I belong to). The discussions that occur there are very intelligent and insightful, but at the same time its more like a group of people exploring shared interests. Most people there don't seem too concerned about proving themselves absolutely right. I suspect its partly because there are some therapists there. Also, Jungians are into shadow work which means they're less likely to project their issues onto others.

Another forum that is nice, but not very active at the moment is devoted to Joseph Campbell's theories. Many people there seem to be weak agnostics, but I haven't seen a discussion about agnosticism. Campbellians are interested in religion because they believe its meaningful, and they're fairly open-minded about most things they discuss. Sometimes the discussion might feel a bit too New Agey for some, but I don't mind.
