The Earth is travelling at high speed through a near-void... Orbiting the sun, as the entire solar system moves through our galaxy. There is no one reference point that we can use to determine if we are floating, sinking, or maintaining a stable position on the Y axis.
And this information appears to have been omitted from the Bible, possibly because its
human authors had limited knowledge about the universe.
