Its true that everyone naturally has the urge to "commit" these "sins", but i dont think its a good idea to say they are sins and try to avoid them, just like its wrong to be completely virtuous all the time.

I think that to be a "good" person we need to find a balance, find the "Golden Mean", the half way point between and virtue and a vice

For example, you may say its bad too be greedy, but cant it be bad to be charitable as well?? If youre too greedy you will want more and more which would cause misery, but if you were too charitable you would end up with nothing, again causing misery, so this too must be bad. If we find a half way point so that we are balanced surely this would be "good". Not too greedy, but not too charitable, not too full of sloth, but not too hard working...etc
