In other terms, I do not beleive in heaven or hell, or any morale value for that matter. However, I can't seem to escape from my last thread of Christianity in the fact that there is "An almighty and divine power"
I can't seem to panthom how the universe was created by itself. Matter and Energy cannot exist unless matter and energy had existed in the first place. Stephen Hawkings seems to have a thoery to contradict this, however I have no idea how he would explain it.
So, we know the universe has a finite age, and hasn't always been there. So, the only explanation I have is to create an almighty being in my head that does not exist in the laws of science, or a God pretty much.
Now I want to let go of Christianity as a whole and become Athesist or at least agnostic. Can someone help explain to me how the universe came here in the first palce, b/c my simple little mind can't wrap around it |
People that have much more than simple minds struggle with this question, so don't worry about it.

Anyway, I don't desire to become atheist. I have no qualms with believing in a god. I just don't have sufficient evidence to convince me there is one. Sure, on a logical level it works out that a god must have been there to create it all, but remember that conceptions of gods came from people trying to figure out how stuff worked. It's not exactly like they had the scientific means back when religions were started. However, since that point, science has been able to thoroughly debunk many of those initial impressions that early religious figures came up with (i.e. we were created in a few days, the sun revolves around the earth, etc.).
