Any woman who has
ever had a spontaneous abortion (or "miscarriage") is quite aware of at least one stage of embryology. (I myself have seen a fetus at the age of six weeks.) Combine thousands of similar observations by thousands of women who lose their babies at various times before birth, and one obtains a
very clear knowledge of embryology. A god is not required to explain this to us. We already knew.
