I belong to a little fundie forum that gives me a lot of amusement. On the occasion of coming out of lurk mode and posing the question, this was a reply made today...

Am I the only one that noticed the web site that OP came from relies solely on circular reasoning?

Actually, it is scientists who must rely on circular reasoning where it concerns the alledged geologic column, their fossils, and their age: http://www.icr.org/index.php?module...tion=view&ID=94.
If one honestly looks at what geologists call the geologic column, what he sees is the undisputed evidence of Noah's flood. Tons and tons of layers of sediment laid down by water, catastrophically burying everything in its path, worldwide, leaving for us a testimony of the judgment of God ingrained in the rocks.
But as Peter tells us, some people are just willingly ignorant. That is, they choose to ignore what God has done in the past, for which reason they look for another way to explain the fossil record.

Sometimes, I do have to wonder one question: Does it hurt to be this ignorant?
