Alexie, that sounds like a bad e-mail forward that my grandma sends me every now and again. Why does this Rick Mathes get off on making stories up?

I can make up stories too:

When the Pope was confronted with an undeniably scientific graph that marked the increase of pirates in relation to the increase of global average temperature (see http://www.venganza.org/about/open-letter/), he immediately started foaming at the mouth and had had 40 days of contractions (because 40 days in the Bible is literally 40 days, and not a long period of time). Upon waking from this, he immediately converted and became a Pastafarian. Thus, the Catholics downplayed this by saying he had died, rather than admit the truth.

Amen.
