lol alexie, muslims are not ordered to kill 'infidels' to gain a place in heaven. killing an innocent person more likely warrants a place in hell.
you can't base your views on islam from something you've heard from one imam. just because he may hint as to something being a fact doesn't neccassarily make it a fact.
