I have always worked in the Hospitality Industry. And as you might guess, the pay leaves a little to be desired. So back in the 80's I started looking for ways to build my income, specifically my nest egg, from home. Over the years I have been in mail order and multi-level marketing.

In 1990, an acquaintance of mine told me about a nationally known company that would allow me to sell their products from home. They allow me to earn a residual each time I help someone else start their own business. It took me some time to "perfect" my business but now, today, I simply take orders through the mail. My customers then pick up their products every two weeks at my "pick-up party". Doing it this way, means that I don't have to deliver, or stock . I simply order my products AFTER the guest has already paid me for them. Then THEY come and pick up the products. The great thing about it is that I don't have to talk anyone into buying. These are the products that our grandmothers loved and are backed by a century old rock solid company. When they pick up their products, I give them a new catalog for the next two weeks. It works out well.
