There’s a big difference between one of us doing it and the leader of Catholic Church (who may in addition, be interpreted as the spokesman for Christianity in general) doing it.

I have not read or heard the Pope’s comments first hand, but from what I’ve gathered it seems pretty ironic. The Pope calling Islam violent. Ha! Like he has any room to talk. Christianity (and the Catholic Church especially) has a very bloody past. Wasn’t he a part of the Hitler Youth or something for a while too?

This sentence could easily (by changing only a few words) describe Christianity as well.
