I bought Shermers "Why people believe wierd things"..so far its pretty good and I got the wisdom of Joseph campbell on audio, the shop owner said it was really cool since it has campbell talking on it himself. I also picked up Sagan's dragons of eden ($2 at a used book store), which even though was written in '77, still is really enjoyable.
