That's one thing about some religions. I don't want to let go of everything, even if it does bring eternal, ultimate bliss. I love life. I love getting angry and getting happy. I love the trees outside and I love my bed inside. I am terrified of bugs, but I love that because it allows me to appreciate not being terrified of other things. And if I was never scared, I wouldn't know what feeling safe is like, and I love that. I know if I let go of all of this, all desire, all hate, all love, I would be at peace. But I don't want to be at peace. I enjoy living.
