You are wrong. Allah is a God of Exile. Yahweh/Allah are the problem, not the solution. They are our barrier to enlightenment.. they keep us from the truth of our being. The biggest success of these idols is what they have done to you and countless others.. Convincing you that they are ultimate.
There's a whole variety of hindu religious painting that illustrates the gods of the hindu pantheon such as shiva and kali removing their own heads in order to free you from the bondage of their image. The power of the image of Gods is as a vehicle towards self realization. Maybe you and many other people are still on the trip. But true enlightenment is when you reach that yonder shore and leave the boat (your vehicle, the idols) behind you.
Attrocities by anyone, hitler, or the social darwinists, or the atheistic communists, or whatever can not change this fact.
Allah is an idol. He is the reason for our exile from the garden of eden. He placed the guards at the gates. He has you under his thumb driving you by the reigns labeled fear and desire or good and evil or birth and death.
Smash your idol. Slay this image that binds you.
