I dont think his religion was in all in part with Paramount and his company parting ways. I know they cut back on subsidies to small production companies and gave them an across the board spending amount. I know his company was a big time spender and was not compensating Paramount properly. In fact Paramount was losing $$ on his company - even with his big time movies. I think Cruises company bailed out on the deal because they wanted a free ride and didnt want to foot the deal over the spending limit at paramount.
As far as Cruise behavior on Oprah. His jumping on the couch was outta sorts for his public demeanor. To me a little off. As far as his opinion about anti - depressants for people - well thats his opinion and was not off for stating it. Even if I disagree with his ideas of why.
